So, the Christian Right-Wing has this whole tirade about how marriage should be between one man and one woman. They...

Trying to figure something out here. I have my blogs. First my personal blog at EricscShuetz.com and my personal tech blog at Tech.EricsShuetz.com. I am trying to decide here. What should I do? I have been seeing numerous bloggers jump on the bandwagon and started using Google+ as their official blog forum. However, I am not entirely ready to do this. Why? Because of the stories that Google doesn’t keep a lengthy backlog of your posts. I do not know if that is entirely true, as I have not personally investigated this yet.
What I am truly waiting for is when Google integrates Blogger.com into Google+. Why? Because then I would have more control over my content. With Google+, it still feels like a “post” on a social network. I can not dictate the positioning of images in the posts. I don’t post a lot of pictures on my personal blog, but I do use images on my Tech Blog for that attempt at a polished look and feel. Blogger allows this freedom as well, and that is what I want.
I wouldn’t mind using my vanity URL as a means to redirect back to my Google+ profile, or even my G+/Blogger blog. That would work perfectly fine as well.
So what are the benefits of going the route of using G+ as a blog tool? Exposure! Anyone that wants to write a blog for any reason is wanting exposure. They want to have someone read it, share it, follow it, and even comment on it. It’s a way for everyone to have their little slice of popularity and fame. Not to much to ask for, is it?
I am actually writing this post on Google+ as an experiment. I am also going to post on my blog. Why? Just for the archival purpose for now, really. I feel that I will be doing this more often just to see what reaction I can get from it. This will also be my way of getting more active on Google+ beyond just posting occasionally. Could be a fun little experiment.
